Girls Night Out with South Coast Repertory

It's girls night out again with SCR! Come get cultured and mix up the usual with cocktails and a Pulitzer Prize Finalist drama, Collected Stories. Start off at Maggiano's for complimentary cocktails and appetizers and head over to SCR for the show on Segerstrom Stage.

This is the first major revival of a play that gained modern masterpiece status with its compelling story that examines the artistic inspiration. The question of who has control over memories — the one who lives them or the one who writes about them — is the dilemma that confronts a young author and her revered mentor, with whom she collides on her race toward fame. Originally commissioned and premiered by SCR, Collected Stories won Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards for Best Production of a Play and Best Original Play. It went on to become a Pulitzer Prize finalist and was acclaimed across the country and around the world.
